Doing business in New York State might get a lot easier for manufacturers. Why? Because the state senate is expected to completely eliminate income and corporate franchises taxes for manufacturers regardless of size.

The elimination of these taxes is expected to save New York manufacturing companies over $500 million dollar and will hopefully help bring manufacturing jobs back into a state that has seen such employment drop by nearly 40% since 1990.
